After that, I drew using a sharpie and black gel ink pen. While drawing, I had to make measurements so that the mouth would be exactly where the pop-out image should be. Then I cut the brown paper and wrapped it around the cup, sticking it on with double-sided tape.
For the cup holder's drawing, I tried to make a sketch with the holder flat on the table, but it turned out smaller than the cup image and it looked imbalanced. So, I decided to draw while the holder was on the cup. This is the result:
Though it still looks imbalanced, now I have a grasp on what I have to do for my final mock-up.
Another element that was supposed to be added was a coupon attached behind the cup holder for coffee consumers to use to get a free doughnut. This would both encourage them to eat breakfast, and also enable them to interact with the coffee cup.
This was how it looked after adding the coupon. However, since it looked more visually appealing without the coupon, I decided to forgo this idea.
